Mike Stanchina
Managing Director
Mike brings over 10 years of bulge bracket investment banking experience to the firm as well as 6 years of commercial banking experience. Throughout his career Mike has executed over $50 billion of M&A and capital markets transactions as an industrials focused investment banker including a $19 billion leveraged buyout. He also worked on $5+ billion stock for stock buy-side engagement, as well as many other sell-side assignments. During his career on Wall Street, Mike worked at Banc of America Securities, Merrill Lynch & Co., and Deutsche Bank, creating shareholder value for his clients across a variety of industries.
Prior to his banking career, Mike worked as an engineer in the private sector from 2000 to 2004. From 1993 to 2000, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer.
Mike graduated cum laude from Clemson University with a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering and graduated cum laude from NYU’s Stern School of Business with an MBA.
Tom Blankenship
Managing Director
With over 15 years of investment banking experience, Tom began his investment banking career in New York. In 2021, Tom co-founded M8N Securities with Mike to offer senior-level advisory services to all clients.
Before founding M8N Securities, Tom worked for Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, and H2C Securities. His background is a blend of Wall Street M&A, debt, and equity/IPO transactions, with expertise in the healthcare, tech, and industrial sectors.
Tom has completed over $50 billion in transactions ranging from health tech, hospitals and health systems, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, health tech, home health and hospice, behavioral health, and various industrial businesses.
Tom earned an MBA from the University of Southern California, where he graduated beta gamma sigma, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California Davis.
